I feel like I have changed my mind about this a hundred times. I made a post about the race question called A Pretty LittleThing Called Action but my answer kept changing and I think will always be changing.
Right now at this time—July 2011—unless completely drunk, kidding, or doing some kind of psychology survey, I am not able to let these frequently asked interracial dating questions come out of my mouth. Why? Because no matter how comfortable I felt in the past with them out of the way it never mattered in the end because not every White/Asian/Hispanic man is attractive to me period. Relationships end because of things not linked to race so doesn’t that make someone asking these frequently asked interracial dating questions null and void?
But then why do they happen to appear everywhere on IR blogs?
Are these frequently asked race questions needed or can we settle them all right now? Which are needed race questions and which ones are so 1880s?
Which questions I’m I talking about? Let me get specific with everyone.
- Have you ever dated a black woman/Have you ever dated a white man?
- Have you ever brought a black woman home to meet your parents?
Right now I only can think of these two questions now but add more to the list below because this blog was first about establishing that black women can like (and do like) men outside their race contrary to the only-a-black-man media machine.
Asking these questions right is not like a test just like dating someone does not randomly equal a relationship.
Here is my open-ended question: Are these frequently asked interracial dating questions needed?

Iam not sure if this is they type of question u were looking for but Why is that most IR blogs, sites, books...etc are written by the BW and not the other way around? BW are starting to open up to IR and helping other BW with the Idea that prince charming might come a few shades lighter but I have yet gotten the same memo from the WM in regards to BW?
