Dating as a 30-something, Plus-sized, black woman in Canada.

I write because I am. I am a plus-sized size 14 black woman living in Canada, and my dating experiences have been the same. 

I've been friend-zoned, sister-zoned, and replaced by white women who are even bigger than me. 

I'm a mid-sized black woman with a small stomach and big thighs. I love Tim Hortons over Starbucks, and I get along with every race. However, I've tried online dating. When it comes to a man, whether you are younger in your twenties or a silver fox in your fifties, it all ends the same way--BLOCKED! 

I'm not blaming anyone, but I'm a Christian, so it's so hard to live bible based. 

Now, I'm going back to the home gym, back to the offline dating world post-Covid in the cold, in my Michael Kors stretch jeans, and can't nobody stop me from having fun times and getting married and having kids one day. It's serious tings--like Drake would say--but if you can do it, so can I.
